After navigating that hazard, right around that corner is another, tighter turn, with a yet steeper cliff. You might begin to question if you are taking too many risks given the unknown path ahead. Many people would turn around and find another longer way around. What if you had a map and realized that after the second turn the road straightened out and led all the way to your desired location more quickly. If only you had a map, a plan, something that let you know it's going to be all right. Sometimes staying the course is the best way to go, other times you need to cut your losses and go in another direction. That is the power and comfort of having a financial plan.
